Vartan Adjemian in Switzerland

Armenian composer Vartan Adjemian will be in attendance at the first performance of his work «Adventure» for alto saxophone and orchestra at the Salle de Musique de la Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland) on June 29th at 19:30, the occasion being the closing ceremony of the Conservatoire de Musique de Neuchâtel. This piece was commissionned by the CDMC (Conseil Départemental pour la Musique et la Culture de Haute-Alsace) and is available in 3 versions; alto saxophone and orchestra, or with wind orchestra or piano accompaniment. Editions Bim’s «Armenian Composers Series» currently includes over 40 works by 10 composers.
