Juan J. Colomer (*1966)
Born in 1966 in Alzira, in the province of Valencia, Spain, Juan J. Colomer began playing at the age of eight with the local Society of Music (Banda), and completed his trumpet studies at the Valencia Conservatory as the student of Leopoldo Vidal while obtaining his diploma in composition as the student of Amando Blanquer.

About Fierabrass
The adventures of Don Quixote
“Fierabrass” is inspired by the adventures of Don Quixote, and the title of the piece is taken from an episode in which he is given a placebo called the “Fierabras potion.” It has a free structure, divided in 3 movements which, in a very capricious way, emulate different moments in the life of our main character, such as Battle, Procession and Madness.
