The original trombamaniac, John Webb is a Londoner, trumpet maker, bass trombone and ophicleide player, publicity agent and brass instrument collector. Too, he's nuts about cats.
His collection of 300 brass instruments resides in Witshire at his trumpet workshop.
Alongside many articles on historic brass instruments, he has published "Town Cats" (Michael Joseph Ltd.) presenting views even more irreverent than the following ones about his fellow brass players.
