Roger Bobo is one of the world’s most renowed tubist and brass pedagogues. He is a graduate of the prestigious Eastman School of Music and has successively been principal tubist with the Rochester Philharmonic, the Royal Concertgebow Amsterdam and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
He was also very active as a studio musician in the Hollywood film industry. Since 1990, Roger Bobo has made his home in Europe, and has established himself as one of Europe’s most popular brass soloist. Additionally, Roger Bobo is much in demand as a teacher of all brass instruments, presenting master classes regularly all over the world.
Many important composers have written music for Roger Bobo, and he has recorded seven releases for Crystal Records (USA).
