About Eckig Blues

The Work

Adventures in Brass is a series of 6 six brass solos written by Anthony Plog and commissioned by M. Dee Stewart, Director of CAP ventures (College Auditions Preparation) at the Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, USA. Anthony Plog’s characteristic and original style of composition is clearly in evidence here in this series of six contrasting and idiomatic short pieces (between 3’30’’ and 4’). Each of them can enrich a recital program.
