About Trombola Suite

An etude or a concert piece

Trombola, Suite for 4 trumpets in Bb or in C, serves equally well as an etude or concert piece for a trumpet class or section. The melodic phrasing and harmonic colors are, along with the variety of rhythms, the basic concept of this work, which is clearly contemporary but which also sometimes includes archaic devices (canons I & II) of the Middle Age.
