About History of the Trumpet of Bach and Haendel

English translation by Gerald Abraham of ”Die Geschichte der Bach- und Händel-Trompete”. Werner Menke’s book was first published in 1934 by William Reeves Bookseller Limited (London). Menke authored the only book devoted entirely to trumpet history during the first half of the twentieth century and, thus, became one of the most frequently quoted  authors on the subject.
