HaGuGum
for trombone and piano
TB62 - CHF17.00 (Print)
Eldad Tsabary (*1969)
Composed over a period of 3 months in 3 different cities - NewYork, Boston and Jerusalem, HaGuGum is a piece of a capricious nature. «HaGuGum» is not a real word, but rather a phonetic description of the piece’s character. In its quiet, sentimental instants, the piece has, probably, more of a «hagum» feel; in HaGuGum’s energetic moments, however, its exuberant melodies, thick harmonies, broken rhythms, and erratic dynamics form a much more «hagugugum-gugum»-like texture.
