About Concertino nostalgico

The Concertino nostalgico

In this Concertino nostalgico the trumpet and the piano are  treated equaly . The bright and heroic trumpet dominates the first and third movements, while the piano is leading the second. The cantilena is in the key of love (in D flat major). The inclusion of the term "nostalgia" in the title refers to those beautiful things in life which come and go too quickly.
