About 4 Musketeers

Musical pirouettes

Alexandre Dumas (1802-1870) published his swashbuckling novel under the title “The 3 Musketeers” in 1844. The book became a world success and numerous adaptations have been done for the stage, television and films.

Jean-François Michel invites 4 cornet or trumpet players to play the heroic and audacious adventures with their otherwise peaceful brass instruments. Musical pirouettes, jumping intervals or lyrical musical complicity challenge the soloist's pugilistic imaginations in this exciting adventure.
