Ruperto Chapi (1851-1909)

Ruperto Chapí (1851-1909) was a Spanish composer, and co-founder of the Sociedad General de Autores (S.G.A.E.) He wrote a large number of symphonic, band, choral and chamber works, as well as zarzuelas and operas. He was one of the most popular and important composers of his time.
